Contact and Official Help

This page is an independent guide, not GEPCO’s or PITC’s own system. Your actual bill is generated by the official PITC billing portal (bill.pitc.com.pk), which every legitimate checking tool including this one pulls from. Nobody outside GEPCO and PITC can change your bill amount, and no website can “speed up” a payment beyond what the bank or wallet processes.

Finding the right contact and official help channel can save time when a GEPCO bill is missing, incorrect, overdue, or disconnected. This independent guide explains how to prepare your information, where to ask for help, and how to keep a complaint traceable. We do not collect payments or access customer accounts. For an account decision, always follow the official GEPCO instructions and keep your complaint reference number private.

Before you contact GEPCO

Keep the latest bill nearby and note the 14-digit reference number, consumer name, billing month, due date, meter number, and the issue you want resolved. Write down the date and time of any call or visit. If you are reporting a wrong reading, take a clear photograph of the meter and keep an earlier bill for comparison. Never post your CNIC, bank details, password, one-time code, or a full bill image in a public comment.

Choose the right official help route

  • Bill or reading issue: contact the GEPCO subdivision or customer service office responsible for your connection and ask for a correction review.
  • Payment or receipt issue: contact the bank, app, or authorised payment provider first, then share the transaction reference through an official GEPCO channel if the bill remains unpaid.
  • New connection or connection tracking: use the relevant official application or ENC instructions and keep the application number.
  • Unresolved complaint: retain the GEPCO complaint number and use the appropriate NEPRA complaint process when escalation is required.
  • Safety emergency: keep away from fallen wires, sparks, or damaged equipment and contact the local emergency service and GEPCO immediately.

Our GEPCO helpline and complaint-centers guide explains how to identify the correct office and what details to take with you. Procedures and contact details can change, so verify them on the official source before calling or visiting.

How to make a clear complaint

Describe one problem at a time: for example, “the current meter reading is higher than the meter,” “the payment was deducted but the bill still shows unpaid,” or “the duplicate bill is not available.” Include the reference number privately, the billing month, the date you noticed the issue, and the action you are requesting. Ask the representative to repeat the complaint number and expected response time. Save screenshots, receipts, photographs, and copies of written applications until the matter is closed.

Understanding a bill while you wait

Check the units, previous and present readings, tariff category, fuel adjustment, taxes, arrears, due date, and amount payable. A higher amount does not always mean a meter fault; seasonal use, tariff slabs, adjustments, taxes, or an earlier balance can affect the total. The GEPCO bill calculator and unit-rates guide can help you understand common line items, but only GEPCO can confirm your account and approve a correction.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official GEPCO contact page?

No. This is an independent information page. Use the official GEPCO or NEPRA channels for account information, complaints, payments, and final decisions.

What if nobody answers my complaint?

Keep the complaint number, follow up through the same official channel, and record each attempt. If the issue remains unresolved, review the current escalation route published by GEPCO or NEPRA.

Can I share my bill publicly to get help?

No. Remove or hide your reference number, CNIC, address, barcode, and payment information before sharing anything. Private, official support is safer.

Corrections and updates

If you find an outdated link or instruction on this page, use the GEPCO Check Bill home guide to find the latest related information and report the correction with the page URL. We update general guidance when public procedures change, but official notices always take priority.
